|
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico (1970). García Campos earned a bachelor's degree in fine arts with a major in sculpture at the Puerto Rico School of Fine Arts. He has worked in public and private commissions in collaboration with artists José Ramón Padró (1989); Pablo Rubio (Puerto Rico Pavilion, Seville, Spain: Cristales de la paz - Peace Crystals, 1992); and the Puerto Rican painter Arnaldo Roche-Rabell (1993). Recently, the artist took part in the Third Biennial of the Steel Industry, held in Puerto Rico (2003). He was a professor of sculpture in metal at the School of Fine Arts between 2000 and 2001.
